wow. seems i got a DD on one of my images shot by Gilles Berquet...

but then it got reported as a copyright policy violation.
so i guess someone thinks they know my business with Gilles better than I do and what sort of agreements I keep with various photographers for that matter.

whatever.

I can't see any of the comments or anything now because the image post has been pulled.

So I wrote to the help/faq comment thingy and asked them about it and now i guess i have to wait forever in order to get a reply or have my image re-instated. or maybe they'll just ignore me.

I missed it Kumi; but absolutely the DD would have been well deserved. I don't understand the 'copyright policy violation'? - It's bizarre. You, of all of the people here on D.A. have such a great role and understanding in helping us to breathe magic.

let's hope the D.A. mods will bang their heads together and sort it out.

Ugh, good luck. Is it the photo where you appear headless in the couch? I think I suggested the DD for that - amazing image, totally deserved. It seems to make sense that both the model and photographer have portfolio rights to a great many images... I don't know what kind of investigations the CEA team does, but I hope you can get your image reinstated.

its lame that they pulled it without contacting you ... I mean its clearly you ... seriously a small saunter through the rest of your pictures on here should be enough ;P

well generally the fotog always owns copyright.
but then i have my own agreements with the photographers i work with.

but i guess others know my business better than i do myself

i guess in this case the person that may have made the complaint decided that it was not myself in the image but an image i decided to simply post.

which means i would not deserve any credit whatsoever for the DD regardless of my relationship with the photographer.
